Choose Split King (2 Pieces) or Split California King (2 Pieces) for a complete two-piece configuration. Twin XL (Split King Requires 2) is one base; order two when building a Split King from separate Twin XL bases. King and California King are separate standard configurations.
Oversized Family Bed mattresses require a specifically approved support configuration. Standard sizes do not automatically fit a Family Bed.

No. This listing is for the base. Mattresses shown in lifestyle images are sold separately.
What does ProSmart add to Ergo Smart?
ProSmart adds Wave Form™ Massage, SoundScape® Mode and the Wind Down® Program to connected sleep features and adjustable head, foot and lumbar positioning.
How does Snore Response work?
When snoring is detected, the head can rise approximately 12 degrees. This may reduce snoring in otherwise healthy people who snore due to body positioning. It is not a treatment for sleep apnea.
How do I order a Split King?
Select Split King (2 Pieces) for the complete pair. The Twin XL option is a single base, so two are required for a Split King.
Will it work with my mattress and bed?
Use a mattress approved for adjustable-base use. Match dimensions and follow the owner’s manual for support surfaces, leg setup and moving-part clearance.
What delivery and return policies apply?
Bedding Mart’s delivery, setup and return terms apply. Manufacturer-direct offers and policies may differ.
Care and warranty
Follow the owner’s manual for installation, electrical connection, support surfaces and load limits. Keep moving areas clear and disconnect power before cleaning or servicing as directed.

Coverage & term
Limited construction coverage applies to the original purchaser of a new mattress for the term stated for that model. Structurally defective products may be replaced using materials of equal or greater value.
Support requirements
Use a new foundation, a platform or another rigid surface, or a powered adjustable base. A previously used foundation voids coverage. King and California King frames require a rigid center rail and six legs reaching the floor.
Details to know
The cover, comfort preference and body impressions under 1.5 inches are excluded. Unsanitary conditions, misuse, certain stains and commercial use can void coverage.
Claims & costs
Keep your receipt and law tag. Claims require the purchase date, price, serial number, model and size. Covered defects do not automatically mean a brand-new mattress; associated shipping costs must be paid before replacement.

Coverage & term
A new mattress purchased from Tempur-Pedic or an authorized retailer has 10 years of limited coverage. Tempur-Pedic repairs or replaces products it determines have a covered defect. Eligible removable covers also have 10-year coverage for material or workmanship faults.
Support requirements
Use a structurally sound support system. When using slats without an additional foundation, slats must be at least 3 inches wide and no more than 4 inches apart.
Details to know
Liquid-related damage, deterioration or degradation is excluded, including damage from spills, bodily fluids, cleaning products or other moisture. The complete policy lists additional exclusions.
Claims & costs
Provide your receipt, a description of the problem and photos or recordings documenting the suspected defect. Contact Tempur-Pedic promptly within the warranty period. Associated transportation costs are generally your responsibility, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Coverage & term
The manufacturer’s limited warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects under normal use and proper handling. The warranty code on the mattress law tag determines the term and any deductible schedule.
Support requirements
Use a firm, solid-surface, non-spring foundation or an adjustable base capable of supporting both the mattress and sleepers. Continuous support is required; the manufacturer may request evidence of the support system.
Details to know
Coverage depends on the complete policy and law-tag code. The number before the slash identifies years without a deductible; the number after it identifies the total warranty term. For example, 5/10 means five years without a deductible within a ten-year term.
Claims & costs
Retain your original sales receipt and law tag. The receipt establishes the purchase date. Transportation costs for covered repairs or replacements may remain your responsibility. Bedding Mart can help you identify the applicable warranty and start a claim.

For mattresses purchased after February 1, 2025, coverage is limited lifetime for the original owner buying from Helix or an authorized retailer. Earlier purchases follow their original terms. Years 1–10 cover qualifying repairs or replacement at no cost; later replacements are prorated at 50% of current retail in years 11–15, 60% in years 16–20 and 75% from year 21.
Support requirements
A firm, structurally sound base is required. For adult Helix mattresses, slat spacing greater than 5.5 inches voids coverage.

Caring for your Tempur-Pedic mattress
Your mattress cover
Current ProAdapt, LuxeAdapt, ProBreeze and LuxeBreeze models have removable, washable covers. Follow your model’s care label; Tempur-Pedic recommends cold washing and cool drying.
Protect the TEMPUR material
Do not wash or soak the TEMPUR material. If a spill occurs, remove the bedding and absorb excess moisture; allow the mattress to dry fully before covering it again.
Everyday care
The mattress does not need flipping or rotating. Electric blankets and heating pads are not recommended because added heat can interfere with the material’s response to body temperature.
Moving & storage
Transport and store the mattress flat. Use handles only for positioning, not carrying the mattress.

Support for your Tempur-Pedic mattress
A solid, elevated surface
Use a solid, elevated support surface capable of supporting the mattress and sleepers. Tempur-Pedic recommends its flat foundations or adjustable bases. Improper support can void the warranty.
Slatted frames & platforms
A slatted frame may be suitable when its slats are structurally sound, at least 3 inches wide and no more than 4 inches apart, and can support the mattress and occupants.
Bases to avoid
Traditional spring box springs have too much give. Tempur-Pedic also advises against plywood, futon bases, bunkie boards and placing the mattress directly on the floor; these can damage the mattress or affect warranty coverage.
Murphy / wall beds
The flat wooden frame must support the mattress and sleepers and meet the same slat requirements. Tempur-Pedic recommends keeping the mattress flat and horizontal instead of folding it into the wall each morning.
